Academic Advising Center

The AAC supports students throughout their academic experience at ACM. From planning courses to addressing academic challenges, the AAC helps students make informed decisions, understand their program requirements, and remain on the right path toward degree completion.

The AAC regularly reviews student performance reports to identify students who may need additional guidance or academic support. When intervention is required, the Center coordinates with academic department directors and relevant support units, including Student Affairs and the Tutoring Center, to ensure that students receive timely and appropriate assistance.

Academic advising is an ongoing process. The AAC follows up with students throughout their studies to monitor progress, address feedback, and ensure that recommended support measures are implemented. This coordinated approach helps students overcome challenges, strengthen their academic performance, and work confidently toward their goals.

Advising sessions take place at the Academic Advising Center during the designated advising period before registration for the upcoming semester. Students are encouraged to attend their scheduled appointments prepared with any questions or concerns they would like to discuss.

Every student meets with an assigned academic advisor at least once each semester. During this meeting, students can:

• Review their academic progress
• Develop or update their individual plan of study
• Confirm remaining program requirements
• Discuss course selection and registration
• Identify any academic concerns or support needs
